13. Death, the Snake

The Snake is a figure found throughout the world’s mythology. They are on every continent except Antarctica. Living in diverse environments and adapting specialities quickly make the snake a formidable predator. Just as people fear Death, the Snake is often misunderstood as malicious. It is a difficult process for the Snake to grow, and they have to shed their skins to become what is needed. This is a vulnerable time for the Snake, where it finds itself uncomfortable to stay how it is, but occupied in its rebirth to look for danger. This will be a time of change, where you may feel extremely vulnerable. Let your vulnerability become your strength and don’t let it discourage you from growing as a person. Change is inevitable, greeting it openly will ensure a more complete sense of purpose.
